The Bakersfield Jam​, formerly the Long Beach Jam, are a former ABA team that is now in the NBA D-League.  The Long Beach Jam were created in the 2003-2004 season as an ABA franchise.

The Long Beach Jam are based in Bakersfield, California and play their games at the Dignity Health Event Center.

HistoryEdit

The Bakersfield Jam were created as an American Basketball Association franchise in the 2003-2004 season and would win one championship in their inaugural season.

The Jam were famous for featuring Dennis Rodman on it's roster for it's first season. Rodman left the team after his first - and only - year in the ABA.

The Jam would join the NBA D-League in the 2006-2007 season and change their name to the Bakersfield Jam.

Season-by-Season RecordEdit

2003-2004Edit

In their first season in the ABA, the Long Beach Jam went 24-7 and, with Rodman on it's roster, won their first and only ABA championship after defeating the Kansas City Knights in the ABA finals.

2004-2005Edit

In their last season in the ABA before jumping to the NBA, the Long Beach Jam went 18-10 but lost in round two of the playoffs to the Utah Snowbears.
