The Jersey Express are a professional basketball team that play in the American Basketball Association. The Express are based in Newmark, New Jersey and were created in the 2005-2006 season.
The Express play their home games at the Centenary College of New Jersey.
New Jersey was once the home of another ABA team, the Jersey Squires, who played in New Jersey for one full season before moving out of New Jersey, afterwards folding before the end of the 2004-2005 season.

History[]
The Jersey Express were created in the 2005-2006 season as the Newmark Express. The Express would change their name to the Jersey Express in the 2007-2008 season and have changed home courts several times.
Season-by-Season Record[]
2005-2006[]
After Jersey's inaugural season under the name of the Newmark Express, it's record would be 14-16, enough to earn a spot in the playoffs, where they were eliminated in the first round by the Rochester Razorsharks.
2006-2007[]
In it's second season, the Newmark Express would play their worst season to date, going 2-21.
2007-2008[]
After changing names from Newmark to Jersey, the Express would go 7-10 in the season and reach the quarterfinals before being defeated by the Montreal Royal.
2008-2009[]
In it's fourth season the Jersey Express would go 13-8 and once again reach the quarterfinals before being eliminated by the Nashville Broncs.
2009-2010[]
In it's fifth season the Express would go 12-4 and reach the playoffs, but were defeated in the semifinals by the Bluegrass Stallions.
2010-2011[]
In it's sixth season the Express would go 3-1 and miss the playoffs.
2011-2012[]
In it's seventh season the Express would go 5-7 and be defeated in the playoffs.
2012-2013[]
In it's eighth season the Express would go 8-3 and reach the quarterfinals before being eliminated by the South Carolina Warriors.
