HistoryEdit

The Indiana Alley Cats were originally conceived as an expansion franchise based in Indianapolis, Indiana, but the franchise moved to Anderson, Indiana and played their home games at the O. C. Lewis Gymnasium at Anderson University. Their first head coach was Indiana University alum Greg Graham.

Throughout their short existence, Alley Cats never had much success on and off the court.Crowds, like most in the new ABA, hovered around 200-500 per game.

The Alley Cats moved to the Continental Basketball Association in their second season, but despite the benefits of a set schedule and a bigger, better stadium (the Anderson High School Wigwam), the franchise still struggled, and folded after the 2006-2007 season.

HistoryEdit

2005-2006Edit

In their first - and only - season in the ABA, the Indiana Alley Cats went 27-4, the third best record in ABA history (behind the Utah Snowbears 25-1 record and the Jacksonville Giants 29-1 record). They were upset in the quarterfinals of the playoffs by the Strong Island Sound.
