Season-by-Season RecordEdit

2008-2009Edit

In their first season in the ABA, the West Virginia Blazers were placed in the Northeast Division of the ABA. They finished the season with an 11-14 record (fourth place in the division) and missed the playoffs.

In a surprising upside, Maurice Davis, who led the team in blocks, steals, and shooting percentage (24 PPG) was named to the ABA East All-Star team.

2009-2010Edit

In their second season in the ABA, the Blazers were moved to the South Central Division.

They started-off the season 0-6, en route to a 6-10 season, good for third in the division. Despite finishing with a losing record, the Blazers made their first playoff appearance, and were promptly bounced in the first round by the Kentucky Bisons.

2010-2011Edit

In their third season in the ABA, the Blazers finished with a disappointing 3-3 record, last in their division, and missed the playoffs.

In another surprising upside, Blazers' center Corey Love was selected to the 2011 ABA East All-Star team.

2011-2012Edit

In their fourth season, the Blazers were moved to the Colonial Division of the ABA.

They finished 5-9, and missed the playoffs.

2012-2013Edit

In their fifth season in the ABA, the Blazers never played a game due to many games being cancelled.
